Description of the event:

That evening there will be a double concert with Lea Wilms, born Ingelheim singer-songwriter, and Lina Maly, the Hamburg singer-songwriter.

LEA WILMS
Lea Willms started writing her own songs at an early age. What started with poetry at the age of 11 quickly developed into English-language songs after learning a few guitar chords. The now 22-year-old singer-songwriter still accompanies herself on the acoustic guitar, but now and then she also uses the electric guitar. The rather calm folk-influenced pieces resemble diary entries and are thematically about love, growing up and everything else that moves a young person. The Ingelheim native is currently studying songwriting in Manchester, where she often appears on the English stage alongside her studies.

LINA MALY
If you asked about the outstanding German singer-songwriter newcomer in recent years, you usually got an answer: Lina Maly. The hymns of praise have not stopped since the Hamburg musician released her debut album “Nur zu Visiting” in 2016. Musicians, fans and critics praised the songs of the then 18-year-old, whose lyrics were of a depth, sincerity and powers of observation that are seldom found. In the same year, 2016, the career of the then 18-year-old made various leaps: "Inas Nacht", support for France's superstar Zaz, appearance in the ARD morning magazine, the debut album "Nur Zu sucht" in the German charts and number five on iTunes -Charts - to name just a few highlights. In 2018 Lina Maly was awarded the German Music Author Award in the “Young Talent” category.
It has been four years since their debut album. Four years that she, who now lives in Berlin, continued to release her new album “Could eyes everything” in August 2019 in the adventure called Leben.
What are the things that eyes cannot see? One of the most impressive German-speaking singers and songwriters poses this almost philosophical question with her second album. Lina co-wrote all the songs for "Could eyes see everything", putting all her heart and soul into each one, which has become her trademark, so to speak.
