The winter season can be experienced with the naked eye: the days get shorter and it gets dark early. On cold winter days, there is frosty cold or even snowfall. When the sun shines, the ice crystals sparkle beautifully in the light and the clear, cold air lets you breathe deeply. The fifth season begins in our region on 11 November, and after New Year, the four-coloured flags of the carnival clubs' respective Narhallas can be seen from afar. Our event calendar also has numerous interesting events in store for long winter evenings.
Our bad weather tip: visit an event in our ‘kING’ culture and congress centre
