The Sky or Jacob's Ladder stands on the way to the Peace Cross. The ladder, which reaches towards the sky, is equipped with colored glass panes on its rungs. Depending on the time of day or light incidence, its colors appear differently. The motif of the Sky Ladder is based on Jacob's dream in the Old Testament. In his dream, he sees a ladder that leads from the earth to heaven, used by angels as a connection between the two spheres. At the top of the ladder, God looks down upon the world and communicates with the world through his heavenly messengers. On your hike, you can discover the colorful interplay of colors of the Sky Ladder and let yourself be fascinated.
