Directly by the Rhine is the nature reserve Rheinauen, which offers its visitors diverse opportunities for leisure activities. At 13 different stations, the experience path Jungaue provides information through display boards on topics concerning the Rhine and its former river arms. Furthermore, it informs about species and habitat protection, as well as about the annual flood events. General information about the Rheinauen is also provided. 8 experiential elements playfully convey the objectives of the experience path.
The regional Rhine cycle path runs through the almost mystical surroundings along the riverbank. One has a panoramic view from the newly designed harbor mole of the Rhine and the Rheingau. The boat tours “Around the Mariannenaue” and the ferry also start their tours from the harbor mole.
