Another preserved tower of the formerly 16 ones of the defence line.
Similar to the other remaining towers in Burgunderstraße and Zwerchweg, this round tower with a pointed stone cone shaped roof was built around 1400. The defensive wall in the west curved towards the south at the level of Mühlstraße, whereas, on the other side of present-day Bahnhofstraße, there was a small footpath leading along Breitbachstraße to the old Rinderbachtor.
