Comedy meets historical musical as theater professionals and amateur actors from Ingelheim share the stage. At the center are two famous "C/K-arl's": Carl Zuckmayer and Charlemagne. But who is actually more significant for the region?
The folk play (in the Zuckmayer sense) by Claudia Wehner and Thilo Zetzmann charmingly connects history and the present. Music and confusions guarantee a turbulent theater evening, culminating in a grand "Karlsfest".
