Delicate Watercolor Christmas Cards
Workshop

In this workshop, we’ll create atmospheric Christmas cards using delicate watercolors. With flowing brushstrokes and simple techniques, we’ll create striking color gradients on paper; motifs such as fir branches, Advent wreaths, and wintry landscapes offer a wide range of possibilities for Advent-themed compositions. Through layering, glazing, and careful attention to detail, we’ll ultimately create poetic, hand-painted cards for personal holiday greetings.
The workshop is led by artist and museum staff member Nadine Hanssen. It’s open to anyone who enjoys creative expression and wants to reinterpret traditional techniques with simple tricks.
