Christmas time in Ingelheim
A festive evening with music, poetry, and historical toys

Dr. Nicole Nieraad-Schalke, employee of the Museum at the Imperial Palace and member of the Haus Burggarten association, invites you to take a nostalgic trip back in time to Christmas in Ingelheim of yesteryear. Together we will reminisce about old Christmas customs, marvel at historical photos, and listen to Advent poems penned by long-deceased Ingelheim poets. In addition, association member Heike Glässel will provide insight into her precious collection of historical toys. Finally, accompanied by Benjamin Schalke on the guitar, we will listen to and sing along to the song “Christmas Time in Ingelheim,” which he composed in 2023. Drinks can be purchased on site before the evening ends at the neighboring Burgkirchen Christmas market.
