Der Detektiv und das Saxophon

The Detective and the Saxophone

with Jo Jung, Ruth Sabadino & Boogaloo

No sooner is the new vintage in the cellar than the urgent question arises again: "Death or Grapes"?

No, no... then better red wine than being dead, say Stuttgart's notorious crime artists immediately and embark on a detective tour with pen, voice & saxophone to discover the true Veritas in Vino. Here, one definitely does not have to go to the cellar to have a laugh! An incredible fun-filled audio experience with music, live on stage!

As "The Detective & the Saxophone", the four artists have been performing throughout Germany at criminal events, crime and literature festivals for many years and have participated in Tatort premieres for SWR and ARD. In a masterful manner, actor and speaker Jo Jung narrates and gestures what can be done with a good drop when on a wrong path; be it out of sheer jealousy or out of anger towards a fussy wine critic.

And why does the sacramental wine taste so strange today? Much local and regional content is also heard.
The most criminal jazz band "Boogaloo" provides the perfectly fitting soundtrack: sometimes subtly undulating, with sounds and tones that sensitively envelop the lyrics, then suddenly grooving explosively like the Midnight Express to Harlem.

In an irresistible way, the three musicians weave a seductive net that neither the culprit nor the audience can escape. Together with Jo Jung, they merge into a unique audio experience – live on stage!
