The organizer Sinfonieorchester Rhein-Main e.V. describes the event as follows:

Blue Danube Waltz, Radetzky March, Kaiser Waltz
Polkas, marches, and waltzes by Strauss & Co.

For the program, the orchestra has selected works by Johann Strauss father and son that must not be missing from any New Year's concert. Look forward particularly to the Radetzky March, the Kaiser Waltz, and the Blue Danube Waltz, all of which you know from the annual New Year's Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic on television.

After the last concerts, the press wrote, "Entertaining and of high musical quality" and "The concert thrilled the audience so much that there was a minutes-long applause and standing ovations at the end."

The Sinfonieorchester Rhein-Main was founded in 2015 in Ingelheim. In the meantime, the orchestra has become known far beyond the borders of Ingelheim and regularly performs in Wiesbaden, Mainz, Bad Kreuznach, Bingen, and other cities in the region.
