On the night of the full moon, the Ingelheimer Bacchus awakens. The god of wine, with his wild and ecstatic nature, is the best friend of the cheerful drinkers. He tells us stories of the red wine town, recites old verses and songs crowned with vine leaves: about wine, about people, and about times. For viticulture, the Rheinhessen lifestyle, and the city's history are closely intertwined. Thus, Bacchus encounters us on facades, in churches, and in the wine cellar. Come with us, let's follow in his footsteps!
