Starting from the Imperial City of Ingelheim, the home of scholar Sebastian Münster, our trip takes you to the state capital Mainz – the place of work of Johannes Gutenberg, who changed the world with the invention of printing.

At the center is the impressive Mainz Cathedral, which, despite significant destruction, has remained a symbol of the power and significance of the Mainz archbishops. Discover artistic grave monuments, the cloister, and intriguing stories around the “Holy See” of Mainz.
