The most beautiful hiking trails in Rheinhessen have been awarded the designation "Hiwweltouren" (Hiking World Tours) and inspire with their varied nature, magnificent views and typical regional wine culture. Two of the premium hiking trails are located in Ingelheim. The Hiwweltour Bismarckturm, which focuses on forests, vineyards and wide open spaces, and the Hiwweltour Westerberg, which scores with Selz, meadows, wine, Westerhaus Castle and historic sunken paths.

The offer of the Landhotel Fetzer, as a certified partner of the German Hiking Association, includes a hike on each of the Hiwwelt tours. Due to the hotel's location, a further hike along the Rhine, through the magnificent floodplain landscape between Bingen and Mainz, is an obvious choice.
