IkUM takes stock of the summer exhibition ‘Grab 447’

Already over 1,000 guests at the pop-up museum in kING

The archaeological summer exhibition ‘Grave 447 – A Frankish warrior on his way to the afterlife’ is a real crowd puller.

In the first week alone, over 1,000 visitors flocked to kING to see the spectacular multimedia exhibition. And guests are not only coming in droves to the archaeological ‘pop-up museum’ at kING, they are also thoroughly enthusiastic, as the entries in the guest book prove: comments such as ‘Superb and beautiful exhibition!’, ‘Very interesting insights into the early Middle Ages,’ ‘A must-see!’ and ‘Many thanks to the researchers!’ show that the mix of spectacular installations and sound knowledge transfer strikes a chord with the audience. The fascinating archaeological summer exhibition can be seen at kING until Sunday, 24 August.

Further information about the exhibition (opening hours, admission prices, tickets and accompanying programme) is available online at www.king-ingelheim.de/grab-447.
