

Under the motto ‘Culture and wine – hop on!’, a tour in a historic post bus will take place on Saturday, 16 May, travelling from Bingen via Gau-Algesheim to Ingelheim. Guests on board will discover the picturesque wine region in a very special way. Accompanied by a knowledgeable culture and wine ambassador, they will embark on a charming wine and culture tour that combines historical perspectives, nature experiences and excellent wines.

"Wine meets chocolates" is the theme on Saturday, March 28th, at the Ingelheim Wine Cellar. Starting at 2 p.m., the Ingelheim Vinothek invites guests to a tasting experience for all the senses. Together with pastry chef and chocolate sommelier Christine Jung (Conditorei Purer Genuss), Kathrin Saaler, manager of the Ingelheim Vinothek, will take guests on a special culinary journey: High-quality wines from Ingelheim production will be paired with sweet creations from "Conditorei Purer Genuss".

The next winegrower wine tasting is scheduled for Friday, 27 February, at the Ingelheim wine shop. In the historic tasting cellar of the Ingelheim Winzerkeller (Binger Straße 16), two wine shop winegrowers will once again present their favourite wines with strong character. This time, the Rump and J. Weitzel wineries will be serving their fine wines.

On Friday, February 20th, at 7 pm, things will get really sweet in the wine cellar: The "Sweet Tooth" wine tasting at the Ingelheim Vinothek will focus on the seductive world of residual sweet wines.

The wine tastings at the Ingelheim wine shop are entering their next round. In 2026, Ingelheim Culture and Marketing GmbH (IkUM) will once again offer this popular event series, guaranteeing guests a special wine experience.

For over 20 years, the Bismarck Tower has been shining brightly over Ingelheim and far into the Rhine Valley during the pre-Christmas period as a large Advent candle – a shining landmark of the city during the dark season. Rheinhessische Energie- und Wasserversorgungs-GmbH is also strongly committed to this contemplative Advent light, which has become a symbol of identity, in 2025.

From 2026, BINGEN – RÜDESHEIMER SCHIFFFAHRTSGESELLSCHAFT mbH will be mooring more frequently at the Ingelheim pier, bringing a breath of fresh air and a genuine Rhine atmosphere to the town. Whether it's a party, a murder mystery or simply a day on the water, Ingelheim will then become part of the popular programme of trips on the Middle Rhine.

The Ingelheim Tourist Information Office now offers another Fairtrade product: in addition to fair trade Ingelheim city chocolate, the range now includes high-quality fair trade city coffee.

IkUM (Ingelheimer Kultur und Marketing GmbH) has once again put together a top-class programme of events for the first half of 2026.
