A covered wagon ride through the vineyards / Ingelheim Wine Shop offers new vineyard tours

From August onwards, guests will once again be able to hop on board and chug leisurely through the Ingelheim vineyards with a fine glass of wine in hand on the Ingelheim Vinothek’s covered wagon tours. Along the way, participants will enjoy breathtaking views of the Rhine and Selz valleys whilst sampling a selection of Ingelheim wines. This leisurely covered wagon tour combines culture, nature and indulgence into an atmospheric experience amidst the vineyards.

Live music in the open air: the ‘Thursdays in the City’ summer series is set to begin

Fun, culture, a sense of community and, of course, a great atmosphere – that’s what Ingelheim’s summer series ‘Donnerstags in der City’ (DidC) has to offer from 6 August. Ingelheimer Kultur und Marketing GmbH (IkUM) has once again put together an attractive programme for the 14th edition of this popular open-air event.

The wine shop’s ‘Thursday Trio’ invites you on a wine discovery journey

With its ‘Thursday Trio’, the Ingelheim wine shop invites you to a mini wine tasting every Thursday from August to December, from 4 pm to 7 pm. Each week focuses on a new theme, allowing visitors to experience the diversity of Ingelheim’s wine world in an enjoyable and relaxed way. Whether it’s Riesling, Burgundy or rosé, wines of the future or sparkling specialities – every Thursday there’s something surprising to discover.

Crafts at the Ingelheim Harbour Festival / From upcycling to ‘shabby-vintage’

Anyone who appreciates original arts and crafts, lovingly crafted one-off pieces or creative upcycling ideas should definitely pay a visit to the artists’ market at the Ingelheim Harbour Festival. As part of this traditional festival, which takes place from 24 to 26 July on the Jungau on the banks of the Rhine, this varied market invites you to take a leisurely stroll, discover new things and have a browse. The craftspeople will be showcasing their work on Saturday 25 July from 2 pm to 10 pm and on Sunday 26 July from 11 am to 10 pm.

A treat in the tasting cellar: wine tastings at the Ingelheim Vinothek

The popular winemaker wine tastings at the Ingelheim Vinothek are back for another round. On Friday 7 August at 7 pm, the Vinothek’s winemakers Simon Rolletter (Rolletter Winery) and Philipp Wasem (Wasem Winery) will each present six distinctive wines from their cellars. On Friday 28 August at 7 pm, the Menk Wine and Sparkling Wine Estate will host a tasting in the historic tasting vault. Winemaker Sebastian Menk will serve guests a selection of top-quality wines and sparkling wines from his range.

‘Sweet Tooth Wine Tasting’ featuring Beerenauslese and Eiswein

On Friday 4 September at 7 pm, things are set to get really sweet at the Ingelheim Winzerkeller: the Ingelheim Vinothek’s ‘Süßmäulchen’ wine tasting is all about the tempting world of sweet wines. At this special wine tasting in the historic vaulted cellar, Ingelheim’s Red Wine Queen Laura Schlösser and Lukas Weitzel from the Ingelheim Vinothek will be serving not only delicately fruity Kabinett wines and full-bodied Spätlese wines, but also concentrated Auslese wines, precious Beerenauslese wines and even the extremely rare Eiswein.…

Ingelheim Harbour Festival with live music, an arts and crafts market and a varied children’s programme

On the last weekend in July, the festival site on the banks of the Rhine in Ingelheim will once again become a magnet for anyone wishing to celebrate, relax and enjoy the summer together.
