The vinotheque's covered wagon tours invite you on an enjoyable journey of discovery through Ingelheim's vineyards and introduce guests to the diversity of the different sites and soils of the red wine town. In keeping with the geological features, there is of course always a liquid sample in the glass. With the help of five selected wines from special locations, guests can taste how the respective location of the vines, the terroir, influences the flavour of the wine.
In addition to the samples, there will be a stop along the way with a snack consisting of "Weck, Worscht & Woi" and non-alcoholic drinks. An expert from the Ingelheim vinotheque team acts as a knowledgeable tour guide. The two-hour vineyard tour starts and ends at the Ingelheim Winzerkeller, Binger Straße 16. After the covered wagon ride, there is the opportunity to round off the evening on the terrace of the vinotheque with a good glass of wine, sparkling wine or Secco.
The Vinothek offers further tours through the vineyards of Ingelheim on 12 June, 6 July, 17 July, 14 August and 11 September. Individual bookings for groups of 15 people or more are also possible on request.
Tickets for the vineyard tours can be booked directly here for the price of 35.90 euros.
