The weekend kicks off on Friday 14 August with singer-songwriter Pe Werner and her charming “chit-chat concert”. Under the title “Vitamin Pe”, she will be serving up a lively cocktail of music and stories from 8 pm – by turns upbeat and reflective, but always full of humour and heart. Accompanied by Peter Grabinger (piano) and Pit Lenz (blues harp), the artist ignites pure musical joie de vivre. It promises to be a summer evening full of favourite songs, hits and cheerful moments on stage in the Aula Regia.
Top-class a cappella singing from the Netherlands is what awaits guests on Saturday, 15 August at 8 pm, when the vocal ensemble ‘Frommermann’ (The Dutch Harmonists) takes to the stage. Five distinct voices – one harmonious sound: what the “Comedian Harmonists” began in Berlin in the 1920s, “Frommermann” continues in Amsterdam. The musical programme is tailor-made for the group’s line-up and is performed in a fresh yet instantly recognisable sound – just as if the legendary “Comedian Harmonists” were still singing today. The artists will take turns hosting the programme and guiding the audience through the evening.
The finale of “Künste & Klänge” on Sunday, 16 August at 5 pm will be presented by actor and musician Stefan Jürgens with his intense reading performance “Nenn’ es Liebe”. Poetic, humorous and touching, he navigates through the many facets of love – from healing power to longing, from passion to melancholy. A tribute to perhaps the most beautiful feeling in the world – inspiring, honest and deeply moving. Stefan Jürgens was a founding member of the legendary comedy show “RTL Samstag Nacht” and appeared on screen as a Berlin-based “Tatort” detective and in the crime series “Soko Wien”. Alongside this, he launched a career as a singer-songwriter and musician.
