A treat in the tasting cellar: wine tastings at the Ingelheim Vinothek

The popular winemaker wine tastings at the Ingelheim Vinothek are back for another round. On Friday 7 August at 7 pm, the Vinothek’s winemakers Simon Rolletter (Rolletter Winery) and Philipp Wasem (Wasem Winery) will each present six distinctive wines from their cellars. On Friday 28 August at 7 pm, the Menk Wine and Sparkling Wine Estate will host a tasting in the historic tasting vault. Winemaker Sebastian Menk will serve guests a selection of top-quality wines and sparkling wines from his range.

During the tasting in the vaulted cellar (Binger Straße 16), guests have the opportunity to meet the winemakers and sparkling wine producers in person and, through direct conversation, learn fascinating details about the wines and the work carried out in the vineyard and cellar. Of course, there will also be information about the different grape varieties and the Ingelheim vineyard sites. To ensure guests are well catered for, small nibbles will be served during the winemaker’s tasting.

Tickets, priced at €34.90 per person, are available from the Ingelheim Tourist Information Centre/Vinothek (Binger Straße 16), by telephone on 06132-710 009 420 or by email at info@vinothek-ingelheim.com. Bookings can also be made online via the Erlebnisshop. As well as the popular winemaker’s wine tastings, the Erlebnisshop offers many other attractive events that can be booked directly online at www.ingelheim-erleben.de.
