kING – Ingelheim Culture and Congress Hall
The Ingelheim Jazz Night will take place for the fifth time on Saturday, 10 January. The main concert with Cassandra Steen and the Rhineland-Palatinate State Youth Jazz Orchestra (Phoenix Foundation) has been sold out for months. However, tickets are still available for the four late-night sessions following the main concert. With the strolling tickets, night owls can listen to all four concerts between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. and experience the ‘Engel Trio’, the ‘Caro Trischler Trio’, the ‘Frankfurt City Bluesband’ and the jazz collective ‘FÄZZ’ live at various locations in the kING.
On Saturday, 17 January, the popular SWR1 music show ‘Hits und Storys’ will be visiting Ingelheim. This event is also already sold out. On Sunday, 18 January, the ‘Joscho Stephan Trio’ will be presenting virtuoso gypsy swing in the foyer of the venue. On Saturday, 24 January, the Kikeriki Theatre will bring Hessian humour to the cabaret stage at kING with ‘Ur-Rumbelstilzje’. The event is being held in cooperation with the sponsors of cabaret. On Sunday, 25 January, cabaret artist Abdelkarim will be performing his new programme ‘Plan Z – jetzt will er's wissen!’ (Plan Z – now he wants to know!) in Ingelheim.
Another cabaret highlight awaits guests at the kING on Friday, 6 March, when comedian Michael Mittermeier takes to the stage with his programme ‘Flashback – Die Rückkehr der Zukunft’ (Flashback – The Return of the Future). On Saturday, 7 March, the trio ‘GlasBlasSing’ will be performing their humorous bottle music on the cabaret stage. The event is a collaboration with the sponsors of cabaret.
The Ingelheim Concert Spring awaits with top-class artists. Max Mutzke and the exceptional Cuban pianist Marialy Pacheco will kick things off on Friday, 13 March with their joint programme ‘Unsere Nacht’ (Our Night). On Saturday, 14 March, actor Friedrich von Thun and accordionist Maria Reiter will present ‘Wiener G'schichten’ (Viennese Stories) with texts by Franz Werfel, Alfred Polgar, Karl Farkas and others. The Hanke Brothers will conclude the three-day concert series with their family concert on Sunday, 15 March.
‘12 voices, 1 evening, 1 message’ is the motto of ‘Das Mutmach-Konzert’ (The Encouraging Concert) at kING on Friday, 20 March. With this concert, artists from the region are sending a strong message for a united and democratic society. The concert is being held in cooperation with In-RAGE (Ingelheim Alliance Against Racism and Violence).
The audience can look forward to an extraordinary event on Friday, 10 April, when the Bach Choir Salzburg takes to the stage together with the Mozarteum Salzburg Big Band with its impressive programme ‘Sacred Concerts!’.
Another highlight is on the programme for Thursday, 23 April: Thomas D, member of the band ‘Die Fantastischen Vier’, will be performing at the kING together with the instrumental jazz band The KBCS.
Top-class cabaret on the cabaret stage will be presented at the end of April and beginning of May in cooperation with the sponsors of cabaret. On Friday, 24 April, cabaret artist Hagen Rether invites you to an evening full of love, and on Friday, 8 May, Christian Ehring, presenter of ‘extra 3’, serves up a socio-politically topical show with sharp-tongued punchlines.
Ingelheim Wine Cellar
The Ingelheim Wine Cellar kicks off the first half of 2026 with a satirical review of the year on Sunday, 11 January. ‘Klappe zu!’ (Shut up!) is the name of the programme that HG Butzko will be presenting in the historic vaulted cellar. The event is a collaboration with the sponsors of cabaret. On Sunday, 25 January, the ‘Huub Dutch Duo’ will stage a brilliant show full of passionate enthusiasm entitled ‘Life is fine – when you're on a clothesline!’.
On Thursday, 29 January, there will be a gripping reading in the wine cellar with author Andreas Pflüger, who will read from his spectacular spy thriller ‘Kälter’ (Colder). On Monday, 23 February, Gaea Schoeters will be a guest in the wine cellar. The author of the sensational success ‘Trophäe’ (Trophy) will read from her novel ‘Das Geschenk’ (The Gift), which examines the existential issues of global coexistence from an unusual perspective. The readings are being held in cooperation with the Wagner bookshop.
On Saturday, 28 February, the duo ‘Ulan & Bator’ will rock the cabaret cellar with their programme ‘Undsinn’ (Nonsense), stimulating both the audience's laughter muscles and their minds. The event is a collaboration with the sponsors of cabaret.
On Sunday, 1 March, the piano duo ‘Seng2Seng’ will take to the stage in the wine cellar. The two brothers Daniel and Manuel Seng combine jazz and classical music in a unique way.
‘Alles zu meiner Zeit’ (Everything in my time) is the title of the programme by Alice Köfer, who will be on stage in the cabaret cellar on Sunday, 8 March. In her programme, the cabaret artist explores the increasing obsession with optimisation and the power of algorithms. The event is being held in cooperation with the sponsors of cabaret.
Bestselling author Mechthild Borrmann will read from her novel Lebensbande (Bonds of Life) on Thursday, 26 March. The book tells the life stories of three women whose fates intersect between the Second World War and the fall of the Berlin Wall. On Thursday, 7 May, Scottish historian and bestselling author Martin Walker will present his latest Périgord crime novel, Bredouille. It is already the 18th case for Bruno Courrèges, Chief of Police of St. Denis. The readings are being held in cooperation with Wagner Bookshop.
Ingelheim guitar virtuoso Daniel Stelter will present a release concert for his new album ‘Wooden Songs’ on Saturday, 30 May, up close and personal in the vaulted cellar of the Ingelheim Winzerkeller.
The wine bar in the Winzerkeller will also be offering exceptional culinary experiences again in the first half of 2026. On Friday, 6 March, there will be a ‘Small Wine Sensory Seminar’, and on Saturday, 28 March, it's ‘Wine Meets Chocolates’ in cooperation with Café Purer Genuss. In addition, the wine shop, together with the Finkenauer bakery, is offering the ‘Wine Meets Bread’ gourmet event (date to be determined). On Saturday, 30 May, an inspiring ‘gourmet walk’ through Ingelheim's Neue Mitte will take place. In addition, the popular winegrower wine tastings will be offered regularly again in the first half of 2026.
