Emil und die Detektive - Die berühmte Geschichte in Musik und Worten

on 28.08.2026 at 16:00 o'clock

With classical music and lively recitations by Naomi Lohse-Baumert, Erich Kästner's famous story comes to life anew. Children and adults accompany the brave Emil Tischbein on his journey to 1920s Berlin – a world full of adventure, friendship, and surprising twists.
The music of Trio Magos illuminates moods and scenes: sometimes playful, sometimes mysterious, sometimes full of vigor. An afternoon full of sound and stories – humorous, exciting, and rich in imagination.
As part of the Rheinland-Pfalz Cultural Summer 2026, this concert is part of the series "Echo of the Turning Point – The 1920s Reloaded," together with the evening program "Between Rhythm and Dizziness."

The Trio Magos – Maxi Hennemann (clarinet), Goun Kim (piano), and Sebastian Hennemann (cello) – represents an extraordinary chamber music signature. The three young musicians combine technical brilliance with great curiosity for sound colors, narrative power, and new concert formats, especially for children. For their artistic work, they have been awarded multiple times.
The event is under the patronage of District Administrator Thomas Barth, Mainz-Bingen district.

Tickets from € 7.- at the known advance booking offices or via www.ticket-regional.de/trio-magos
