As part of the open-air series ‘Thursdays in the City’ (DidC), Ingelheim’s high street retailers are offering a range of attractive promotions on Thursday 13 August. Alongside the children’s programme with Alex Schmeisser (starting at 3 pm) and a performance by the cover band ‘Bruise Brassers’ (starting at 7 pm), there will be special events taking place in the city centre.
At around 6 pm, a fitness session will begin on Sebastian-Münster-Platz. Aline Nichtern from Reha-Vital/Sport-Box will be leading a free exercise session on the stage, focusing on coordination. The session will be adapted to the weather and can be taken part in wearing everyday clothes.
Between 6 pm and 8 pm, the trade association ‘Ingelheim aktiv’ is hosting a culinary tour through the town centre under the slogan ‘Wine in the City’.
For five euros, you can buy a ‘Piffchen Pass’, which allows you to sample a total of ten wines at five participating shops (EDEKA, Dressman, Wohnscheune, Zitrönchen and Frau Antje) – two ‘Piffchen’ per stop. The wines come from five Ingelheim wineries taking part in the event: Weingut Gräff-Schmitt, Wein- und Sektgut Menk, Weingut Dautermann, Weingut Wasem Doppelstück and Weingut Mett & Weidenbach. As part of a prize draw, ‘Ingelheim aktiv’ is giving away ten sets of two Piffchen Passes. Entries for two free tickets each can be submitted by email to open@ikum-ingelheim.de.
‘Thursdays in the City’ is supported by REWE Markus Brzezina, Rheinhessische Energie- und Wasserversorgungs-GmbH and Volksbank Darmstadt Mainz.
