Grape harvest for families in the Ingelheim Vinothek’s vineyard

From Tuesday 25 August to Saturday 29 August, families will have the opportunity to take part in the grape harvest together during the Ingelheim Vinothek’s opening hours (Tuesdays to Fridays 1 pm to 6 pm, Saturdays 11 am to 4 pm). In the vineyard on the premises, below the north terrace of the Winzerkeller, delicious table grapes can be harvested, nibbled on and taken home. Under the slogan ‘Bring your secateurs – and let’s get started’, families are invited to stock up on vitamins from local produce. Of course, individuals are also welcome to join in the grape harvest.

Participation costs 5 euros for adults and 4 euros for children. The price includes a large paper bag for the grapes and one drink per person (grape juice spritzer/wine spritzer/wine). Registration takes place at the Vinothek in the Ingelheim Winzerkeller, Binger Straße 16, or in advance by email to info@vinothek-ingelheim.com or by telephone on 06132-710 009 420.

IkUM (Ingelheimer Kultur und Marketing GmbH) had the Vinothek’s small vineyard planted in 2020 as part of the renovation of the Winzerkeller. The 20 rows of vines are planted with different varieties of table grapes. White, red and blue varieties grow in the wine shop’s vineyard, each with different ripening times, meaning that delicious grapes can be harvested here almost continuously from late summer through to autumn.
