For those feeling peckish, there are culinary delights on offer from Engler’s Restaurant. At the red wine fountain at the Ingelheim wine shop, you can stock up on Ingelheim wines and non-alcoholic drinks, whilst the younger guests spin round on a children’s carousel and enjoy some candyfloss or crêpes.
On all three days of the festival, visitors can look forward to atmospheric live music in the garden of the Winzerkeller. Kicking off the weekend on Friday evening is the four-piece band ‘The Rockademics’ from the Rhine-Main region, who will be ensuring a great atmosphere on the festival grounds from 7 pm to 11 pm with a wide range of musical styles. On Saturday, from 7 pm to 11 pm, the group “LateLounge4”, featuring Mainz-based singer Silke Vorrath, will serve up a mix of lounge pop and party rock. Sunday morning is all about the “Boehringer Big Band”, who will be playing from 11 am for the traditional morning pint. Finally, the musical finale on Sunday evening (6 pm to 9.30 pm) will be provided by the “Alex Funk Duo – feat. Neo Stephanou” with jazz, funk and soul.
The Ingelheim Spring Festival is open on Friday and Saturday from 5 pm to midnight, and on Sunday from 11 am to 10 pm.
As part of the Spring Festival, guided tours of the wine cellar and the multimedia exhibition “Kellergenossen” in the historic vaulted cellar will once again be taking place this year. The times are Friday 8 May at 7 pm, Saturday 9 May at 7 pm, and Sunday 10 May at 1.30 pm and 5.30 pm respectively.
