Additional tours due to high demand

kING becomes a ‘pop-up museum’ – opening reception a resounding success

On Monday, 4 August, the team at Ingelheimer Kultur und Marketing GmbH (IkUM) welcomed over 150 guests to kING, who enthusiastically attended the opening of the exhibition ‘Grave 447 – A Frankish Warrior on His Way to the Afterlife’. The exhibition was also very well attended on its first day open to the public.

Due to high demand, additional public tours led by Ingelheim tour guides will be offered on Saturday, 9 August at 2 p.m. and Sunday, 10 August at 12 p.m.

The exhibition will remain open in Ingelheim until Sunday, 24 August. Interactive presentations and spectacular installations will transform the kING (Kultur- und Kongresshalle Ingelheim) into a fascinating archaeological ‘pop-up museum’ for three weeks.

Further information about the exhibition (opening hours, admission prices, tickets and accompanying programme) is available online at www.king-ingelheim.de/grab-447.
