Live music in the open air: the ‘Thursdays in the City’ summer series is set to begin

Until 27 August, Sebastian-Münster-Platz will be transformed into an atmospheric open-air stage every evening from 7 pm to 9 pm. A rotating line-up of bands will entertain the audience – with free admission – with a wide range of musical styles, from Schlager to funk and soul to Latin pop. Younger visitors can enjoy themselves as early as the afternoon at ‘DidC Kids’. Every day from 3 pm to 4 pm, young audiences gather in front of the stage to enjoy magic shows, interactive music and children’s theatre. Also taking part are the Ingelheim wine merchants, who will be serving delicious wines and non-alcoholic drinks on Sebastian-Münster-Platz, rotating weekly.

The Ingelheim summer highlight kicks off on Thursday 6 August at 3 pm with the magician ‘Zinnobro’. From 7 pm, ‘Die Schlageristen’ will get the guests in a lively party mood.

On Thursday 13 August, Ingelheim’s business community is offering something extra: with the ‘Piffchen-Pass’, you can enjoy a delightful tour of Ingelheim town centre. At five participating retail outlets, Ingelheim winemakers will be showcasing a selection of their wines. For 5 euros, guests can sample a total of ten wines – two wines will be served at each venue.
