Public Tour: “Roman Stones - Young Wines”

In 2026, Rheinhessen embarks on the Roman Year. Join the Ingelheim tour guides on a quest to discover the traces of the Romans in Ingelheim. Roman stones and young wines combine cultural and wine enjoyment: Come with us on an exploratory journey to Roman and late antique finds in the museum at the Kaiserpfalz.
In addition to the Roman-era objects in the museum, there is something very special waiting for you: there are some finds from a villa rustica in Großwinternheim that you can “touch”.
Afterwards, we will head to the winery to enjoy a tasting of 4 wines from the freshly bottled 2025 vintage with the winemakers.

Date: Sat. 21.03.2026  from 3 - 5 PM
Meeting Point: Museum at the Kaiserpfalz, Francois-Lachenal-Platz 5
