With the Spring Festival at the Winzerkeller, the red wine town of Ingelheim am Rhein will once again come alive with celebrations in 2026 – the perfect start to a lively festival season full of enjoyment and socialising. Awarded the title of “Rheinhessen AUSGEZEICHNETES Weinfest”, this event, held in the unique atmosphere of the Winzerkeller, also heralds the start of Ingelheim’s popular wine festivals and promises unforgettable moments centred on wine, joie de vivre and conviviality.
Under the slogan “Spring is here – let’s welcome it”, the garden in front of the Ingelheim Winzerkeller will come to life from 8 to 10 May 2026, transforming into a truly special place brimming with atmosphere and joie de vivre. Between the stage and the cosy lounge areas, an atmospheric festival venue will take shape, inviting visitors to linger, enjoy themselves and celebrate together.
At the Red Wine Fountain, the Ingelheim Wine Shop showcases the impressive variety of wines produced by Ingelheim’s winemakers. And with a bit of luck, you might even bump into one or two of the winemakers in person at the Red Wine Fountain.
Within the historic walls, visitors can explore the wine cellar’s premises – including the multimedia wine experience exhibition “KELLERGENOSSEN” on the lower ground floor.
To mark the Spring Festival, our tour guides are also offering the following free short tours of the “KELLERGENOSSEN” exhibition, providing fascinating insights into the history and world of the Winzerkeller.
A varied music programme will provide atmospheric sounds and unforgettable moments throughout the Spring Festival, perfectly complementing the special atmosphere of the wine cellar.
