What could be more beautiful than sitting in the shade of a cherry tree in summer, a glass of wine in hand, and simply enjoying the moment? From August 30th to September 26th, we will reopen our Straußwirtschaft (wine tavern) in our wildly romantic garden directly opposite the castle church – every Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Enjoy our wines amidst fruit trees and roses and indulge in culinary delights: crispy pinsa (spicy fried pasta), accompanied by Rhenish-Hessian classics such as sausage salad, Spundekäs (spicy cheese) with pretzels, and much more from the winery's kitchen. What's special: Our Straußwirtschaft is exclusively outdoors – a summer treat in the countryside, which is possible without any reservations.
