On Friday, February 20th, at 7 pm, things will get really sweet in the wine cellar: The "Sweet Tooth" wine tasting at the Ingelheim Vinothek will focus on the seductive world of residual sweet wines.
An evening for everyone who enjoys life's sweet side – with a glass of wine in hand and a smile on their face. At this special wine tasting in the historic vaulted cellar, Ingelheim's Red Wine Queen, Laura Schlösser, and Lukas Weitzel from the Ingelheim Vinothek will present not only delicately fruity Kabinett and Spätlese wines, but also concentrated Auslese wines, precious Beerenauslese wines, and even the extremely rare Eiswein (ice wine). It will be fascinating to discover how natural residual sugar, fruit acidity, and craftsmanship create a harmonious interplay in the glass. Guests can look forward to an aromatic journey through the entire spectrum of exquisite sweetness. The tasting will be accompanied by small delicacies perfectly paired with the wines.
Tickets for €49 are available at the Ingelheim Tourist Information/Vinothek (Binger Straße 16), online at www.ingelheimer-winzerkeller.de/event/suessmaeulchen-weinprobe, or through the online shop.
