Open-air highlight with live music, magic and children's theatre

‘Thursdays in the City’ is ready to go

From 14 August to 4 September, Ingelheim city centre will once again become a vibrant open-air stage. On four consecutive Thursdays, Ingelheimer Kultur und Marketing GmbH (IkUM) will host the popular summer series ‘Thursdays in the City’ (DidC). A real highlight for all fans of handmade live music under the open sky. Every week, different bands will offer the audience on Sebastian-Münster-Platz a wide musical spectrum ranging from blues to hard rock from 7 to 9 p.m.

IkUM has put together an exciting children's programme especially for young visitors, which starts at 3 p.m. each day. On the four Thursdays, there will be magic shows, theatre performances and hands-on activities for younger guests, among other things. Admission to all DidC events is free.

The event is supported by Rheinhessische Energie- und Wasserversorgungs-GmbH, Volksbank Darmstadt-Mainz and REWE Markus Brzezina.
