‘Wine meditation’ in the wine cellar

Wine and meditation - do they go together? A question to which the new ‘Wine Meditation’ workshop organised by Ingelheimer Kultur und Marketing GmbH (IkUM) provides a thoroughly surprising answer. In her 90-minute workshop, yoga teacher Tanya Meyke takes participants on an inspiring ‘wine meditation journey’, during which amazing flavour experiences unfold.

During the wine tour in the Ingelheim wine cellar, Tanya Meyke shows how a targeted approach to sensory perception can change the individual taste of wine. After a sparkling welcome to start with, three wines from Ingelheim wine cellar wineries are served, which appear in a completely unusual light thanks to small ‘flavour impulses’.

The premiere of the ‘Wine Meditations’ will take place on Thursday, 12 June at 7 pm in the Ingelheim wine cellar. Further dates are on 28 August and 18 September, both from 7 pm.

The ‘Wine Meditation’ workshop can also be booked as a group event on request.

Tickets at a price of 29.90 euros are available from the Tourist Information Centre/Vinothek Ingelheim, Binger Straße 16, or online at www.ingelheim-erleben.de
