From 5 to 24 August, the kING Kultur- und Kongresshalle Ingelheim is showing the special exhibition ‘Grave 447 - A Frankish warrior on his way to the afterlife’. The spectacular finds of an untouched warrior's grave from the 7th century, discovered in Ingelheim in 2023, will be on display. With weapons, jewellery and everyday objects, the multimedia exhibition offers exciting insights into life and death at the time of the terraced burial culture for a period of three weeks.

On the last weekend in July, the traditional Ingelheim harbour festival will once again be celebrated on the Jungau on the banks of the Rhine. From Friday, 25 July to Sunday, 27 July, guests can expect a varied programme with live music on two stages, arts and crafts, fairground rides, a children's programme and, of course, a wide range of culinary delights.

The best atmosphere and handmade live music will attract music-loving guests to the banks of the Rhine in Ingelheim on Sunday, 1 June at the ‘Tassilo’ tourist wine stand. From 3 pm to 7 pm, Rick Cheyenne will get the party started at the stand on the Jungau. The musician's repertoire includes blues, soul, country, pop and swing. The two tourist information centres of the towns of Bingen and Ingelheim are launching a new cooperation project this summer. Under the title ‘Culture and wine, get on board!’, a tour in the historic Postbus will be offered for the first time at the end of June. The journey in the nostalgic bus will take you from Ingelheim to Bingen and will be expertly accompanied by Rhine-Hessian culture and wine ambassadors.
