

‘Old stones – sparkling wines’ is the title of a public guided tour offered by the Ingelheim Tourist Information Office on Saturday, 15 November at 4 p.m., which combines the history of Großwinternheim with sparkling Secco and sparkling wine.

On Thursday, 30 October, and Friday, 7 November, at 7 p.m., a very special event will take place at the Ingelheim Wine Cellar: the wine shop invites you to try out its new ‘Happy Moonlight Yoga’ format. Yoga teacher Tanya Meyke will offer a yoga class in the historic vaulted cellar, which is all about feeling.

History, enjoyment and goosebumps: this autumn, Ingelheim's tour guides invite you to join them on extraordinary adventure tours through the Ingelheim wine cellars and Großwinternheim. Whether it's spooky and beautiful for Halloween, sparkling with champagne or atmospheric by lantern light – three special tour formats in October and November ensure a variety of experiences during the dark season.

It will be a unique Gesamtkunstwerk featuring community theatre, music and spectacular video installations: on Wednesday, 17 December, and Thursday, 18 December, the kING (Kultur- und Kongresshalle Ingelheim) will be the venue for an extraordinary performance. The play ‘Alles Carl? – Alles Karl!’, which premiered at ‘Künste & Klänge’ in August, is now coming to the stage in a new production.

The Ingelheim wine shop and Engler's restaurant in the wine cellar invite you to an exclusive ‘wine culinary experience’ on Thursday, 23 October at 6 p.m.

On Sunday, 14 September 2025, the 32nd Open Monument Day will take place with numerous events throughout the country. In Ingelheim, the monuments in the Kaiserpfalz Archaeological Zone will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on 14 September.

On Saturday, 6 September, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., families will have the opportunity to go grape picking together. In the vineyard of the Ingelheim wine shop, below the north terrace of the wine cellar, delicious table grapes can be harvested, tasted and taken home. Under the motto ‘Bring your secateurs and let's go,’ families are invited to stock up on vitamins from regional production at this community event. Of course, individuals are also welcome to join in the grape harvest.

The Ingelheim Red Wine Festival 2025 has some exciting new features in store. For the first time, there will be a Ferris wheel wine tasting, a wine quiz and a strolling wine tasting. Another new addition to the programme is ‘Silent Monday’. In addition, for the first time at the Red Wine Festival, all food stands will use standardised returnable tableware. Among the musical highlights is the Queen cover band ‘Rockfonie’, which will play in the festival tent on Red Wine Festival Tuesday.

The Ingelheim Wine Cellar is kicking off its 2025 autumn programme with a diverse range of events. From readings to classical music, improvisation to comedy – Ingelheim Culture and Marketing GmbH (IkUM) has once again put together an attractive package for the months of September to December.
