

kING becomes a ‘pop-up museum’ / Construction is in full swing
Setup for the archaeological summer exhibition organised by Ingelheimer Kultur und Marketing GmbH has been underway for a few days now. The exhibition will be on display in Ingelheim from Tuesday, 5 August to Sunday, 24 August.

The aim is an environmentally friendly folk festival
A deposit system instead of disposable tableware – that was the motto at the Ingelheim Harbour Festival 2025. For the first time, reusable tableware was used at the food stands on the festival grounds. The introduction of the deposit system meant that bags full of plastic waste were avoided at the three-day folk festival on the Rhine.

Philipp Weitzel has been in office for a year / Mid-term review
When the Ingelheim Harbour Festival kicks off at 6 p.m. on Friday, 25 July, Philipp Weitzel will have a very special job: the 30-year-old will officially open the festival as ‘Father Rhine’. Last year, he won the ‘Father Rhine Contest’ on the opening day and succeeded Andreas Bockius.

A small anniversary is being celebrated this year at ‘Töne & TamTam’. The popular family music festival in the castle garden is taking place for the fifth time. Ingelheimer Kultur und Marketing GmbH (IkUM) launched the new format in 2021. The event in the enchanted castle garden has since become an integral part of the red wine town's events calendar.

Extended ferry times throughout the weekend
On the last weekend in July (25 July to 27 July), the Ingelheim Harbour Festival will once again be celebrated on the Jungau on the banks of the Rhine. The three-day event attracts visitors with live music on two stages, arts and crafts, fairground rides, a colourful children's programme and a varied culinary offering. Tickets, guided tours and accompanying programme now bookable
From 5 to 24 August, the kING Kultur- und Kongresshalle Ingelheim is showing the special exhibition ‘Grave 447 - A Frankish warrior on his way to the afterlife’. The spectacular finds of an untouched warrior's grave from the 7th century, discovered in Ingelheim in 2023, will be on display. With weapons, jewellery and everyday objects, the multimedia exhibition offers exciting insights into life and death at the time of the terraced burial culture for a period of three weeks.

Coworking days at the Ingelheim wine cellar for exchange and networking
Simply tuck your laptop under your arm, change desks and be inspired by a new working environment - that's what the ‘Coworking Days’ organised by Ingelheimer Kultur und Marketing GmbH (IkUM), which will take place from Tuesday, 16 September to Thursday, 18 September in the inner garden of the Ingelheim Winzerkeller, are all about.

Archaeological summer exhibition in the kING:
From 5 to 24 August, the unique archaeological summer exhibition ‘Tomb 447 - A Frankish warrior on his way to the afterlife’ will take place in the kING Kultur- und Kongresshalle Ingelheim under the patronage of the Rhineland-Palatinate Minister of the Interior, Michael Ebling. From 30 June to 21 July 2025, the Caritas touring exhibition ‘Zusammen Perfekt’ (Perfect Together) will be on show in the inner garden of the Ingelheim Winzerkeller.
