Spring is just around the corner and with it the Ingelheim outdoor season with its popular wine festivals and attractive open-air events. It starts at the beginning of May with the spring wine festival at the Ingelheim wine cellar, which has heralded the start of the open-air season in the red wine town since 2013.

Ingelheimer Kultur und Marketing GmbH (IkUM) once again has exciting cultural events for children in its programme for 2025. On Sunday, 9 March, the ensemble ‘Jan & Henry 2’ will be performing at kING (Kultur- und Kongresshalle Ingelheim). With their new programme ‘The Treasure of Piepenschlönz’, a six-member ensemble will play, dance and sing in search of a mysterious treasure that is said to be hidden in Piepenschlönz Castle.

After last year's successful premiere, the ‘Wine Nose Day’ at the Ingelheim Winzerkeller is entering its second round. On Saturday, 5 April, from 2 pm to 7 pm, wine lovers will have the opportunity to taste excellent wines from Ingelheim's wine cellar winemakers at five different themed stands in the leafy inner garden of the wine cellar.

On Tuesday, 18 February, Ingelheimer Kultur und Marketing GmbH (IkUM) is launching the ‘11+1’ carnival promotion at the vinotheque in the Ingelheim wine cellar. Until 5 March (Ash Wednesday), customers who wish to purchase high-quality wines and sparkling wines in the Vinothek will receive a carnival discount. If you buy eleven bottles, you will receive a twelfth bottle of the cheapest wine free of charge.

Many Ingelheim residents have been eagerly awaiting this moment: since 3 February, the restaurant ‘Engler'S’ in the Ingelheim Winzerkeller has been open under new management. Caterer Maximilian Engler, who already runs the ‘Forsthaus Heiligkreuz’ in Bingen Forest, is eagerly awaiting the new challenge.
